So I have been promising you guys an epic brownie recipe I have been absolutely loving! And like I mentioned here, I have been loving it so much I have had one every night for at least the past two weeks. What I didn’t mention is the product I have been making it with! A couple weeks ago I had the opportunity to try out some products from MyProtein.

Below is a little about them, right from their website:

Welcome to Myprotein, a fresh approach to buying sports supplements and nutrition. At Myprotein, we know from first-hand experience that nutrition isn’t a case of one size fits all. Each of us is unique and just like personal training, our nutrition should be tailored to fit our very own personal circumstances. From innovative supplement flavouring to making massive savings when buying in bulk, we give you the best options so you never have to compromise on your nutrition.

The Myprotein Philosophy

We’re not one of those big, faceless sports supplements manufacturers trying to rip you off with over-hyped, over-priced rubbish.

As users/athletes ourselves we want products that work, which aren’t full of rubbish and don’t cost a fortune. Therefore we insist on using only 100% of the finest ingredients in all our bulk supplies and sports nutrition products, with independently conducted tests and verified Certificates of Analysis available for you to see on the majority of our products; we are totally committed to bringing you the very best supplements available from around the world today.

I had heard of this company before they reached out to me, and I can’t tell you how excited I was! They sent me quite the package, among those were Cinnamon Danish Whey Protein, Vanilla Flavour Drops, Watermelon BCAA’s, Crunchy Peanut Butter, Char Grilled Chicken Protein Bites, some training pants, a top, and the star of the recipe below White Chocolate Whey Protein.

Although I was given these products free of charge, they are SO reasonable. If you buy protein powder on a regular basis like me, you know that anything under $25 for over 2 pounds of protein is a good deal! Right now they are also running a Kick Start 2016 promotion, where their top 25 best selling products you receive an extra 25% off! Check out the protein here!

Now onto the recipe. If you are looking for a high protein, low carb treat that doesn’t taste like cardboard this might be the right thing for you. After beginning my online training experience, having my macros shift from higher carb for me anyways to lower carb I was in need of something to keep my sweet tooth at bay, but without all the carbs and fat that go along with desserts.

I first tried out what some of you might know as the #beltsanderbrownie. Usually includes a scoop of protein, tablespoon of cocoa powder, baking powder and enough almond milk to mix. I just didn’t like the texture. I mean for having 3 carbs I guess it made sense, but it just didn’t do it for me.

I decided to add a little texture to it using gluten free pancake mix. So with just 4 ingredients I created a much more brownie like sweet, healthy, high protein dessert. And it only takes about 30-90 seconds in the microwave!Hope you guys enjoy this rich protein brownie, but don’t forget to step it up a notch and top that bad boy with some peanut butter! And don’t forget to check out myprotein.com

[yumprint-recipe id=’6′]I received these products for exchange for my review, but all opinions are my own.
