I kind of liked giving you guys some food and fitness at the same time, so I thought I would go ahead and do it again!

I’ll start out with a nice workout that will keep ya busy, so busy it will be over before you know it! I have been liking workouts that change it up. No I don’t want to be on the elliptical for 45 minutes straight, it just gets boring! That is where the inspiration came for this one!

You will set a 10 minute timer for the first circuit, then jump on a machine and do 10 minutes, then back to circuit 2, your machine (or a different one) and so on. I did a 60 minute workout so I did three circuits and three 10 minute cardio machine intervals. It keep me so occupied I was onto the next circuit before I realized it! Such a nice change of pace, especially with my marathon training, it keeps me from isolating one body part in particular I was loving the full body workout! And my oh my those bridges will get you!

And now onto a new recipe! This guy is great for high protein, low carb, and something that will for sure help you tame that sweet tooth. I should have came up with a nifty name for it, but because I am just not in a creative mood I think I will just call it my Protein Brownie. It also low in calories, so you can pack on the toppings 🙂 All the peanut butter, because who doesn’t love the chocolate peanut butter combination 🙂

Protein Brownie (microwavable)

1/2-1 scoop protein powder

1/2-1 t cocoa powder

1/2-1 T P2B (you can use either the regular or chocolate flavor)

3-5 T egg whites

1 T (or a splash) almond milk

1/2 t baking powder

Heat in the microwave for 30 second intervals until it is completely cooked in the center! Take out drop some peanut butter on top and enjoy your super quick snack/sweet tooth fix!
