Life has been a bit crazy around here lately. It all started with the Hurricane scare here on the coast of Georgia. And now I find myself sitting at the dining room table on October 24th wondering where the time has gone.

I haven’t really been making time for blogging in the last couple weeks, but in my opinion for good reason. This girl right here has officially become a Mrs. and a Hull. The last couple weeks were full of wedding planning, last minute preparations and details to go over. Family and friends around, lunches and dinners catching up with our friends and family in Ohio. This season of life was stressful, but I wouldn’t have traded it for the world.

I won’t share too many details with you guys yet though, until I can share them through photos, so for now you can find a sneak peak at Randy and I’s wedding over at our amazing photographer, Madison Carter here.

With most weddings you guys know a honeymoon follows, and we were blessed to be able to go on a honeymoon together following our wedding for the next week. We spent a week out in the middle of nowhere, an hour from civilization and cellphone service to be exact. It was exactly what we both needed with a couple stressful months of unexpected events and wedding preparations behind us. It was the perfect way for us to spend our first week as husband and wife together, and I will surely share it with you guys in the next couple weeks.

But today is all about Riley. Our journey with Riley over the last 7 months has been nothing close to easy. We have had some really hard times with adjusting to Riley and in turn Riley has had some really hard times adjusting to us as well. I won’t share details yet, but today is all about our newest family members 2nd Birthday! We now are the proud fur parents to a big bad 3 year old and 2 year old.

We celebrated with our one year old boy with two cookies, a long afternoon walk around our condo complex and some play time with him. He loved my cookies (excluding the chocolate that is) that I just had to share them with you guys too, along with a new sweetener that Randy and I have fallen in love with.

Almond Butter Blossom Cookies

These almond butter blossom cookies are gluten free, and your typical flourless peanut butter cookie recipe just replaced with almonds. We sweetened them with Steviva Blend and I couldn’t recommend it more for coffee, matcha lattes, and baked goods!

Preheat oven 350F. Mix together ingredients and form into cookies. Cook 10-12 minutes then place chocolate chips and white chocolate chips on top.
